Over 440,000 youth are in foster care nationwide. Roca Ray of Hope support services is needed to assist young adults with basic skills before transitioning into society.

Our MISSION

We are committed to assisting young adults aging out of the DFPS system to gain independence in a safe and structured environment. Roca Ray of Hope consists of 6 townhomes that will house 5 men, women, and women with children in each. The townhomes will have spacing available for therapy appointments, sessions with mentors, case managers, leisure time, resume' building, and job searching.

Cupcakes, Canvas, and Lunch Oh My!

The young adults in the foster care system will learn various methods to cope during difficult times. This session will support the young adults along with their mentors with social-emotional learning strategies. We will eat, paint, & enjoy.

The Schlitterbahn Waterpark Summer Experience!

The young adults who attended the social-emotional session in June will be given the opportunity to socialize with mentors and peers.

Sur La Table Cooking Class
The clients of Roca Ray of Hope will participate in the cooking class with accomplished chefs. The hands-on experience will allow each client to prepare a meal, create new memories, and develop life skills that can be used in the future.

The Universal Orlando Experience! The young adults will be given an opportunity to participate in this exciting experience. The young adults who are in compliance with the Supervised Independent Living requirements, have attended June/July/September events, and who are working and going to school. Will be able to participate in this event.
